What Radius Indiana Does

Radius Indiana is a regional partnership representing 8 counties in South Central Indiana: Crawford, Daviess, Dubois, Greene, Lawrence, Martin, Orange, and Washington Counties.

Formed in 2009, Radius Indiana also serves as a primary point of contact in Indiana for Crane.

Mission

It is the mission of Radius Indiana to advance the economy of the South Central Indiana Region by...

• Diversifying the region's economic base
• Raising the standard of living for residents of the region

To accomplish this mission, we work to develop and support customized resources that business need to successfully locate or expand in the South Central Indiana region.

Vision

Our vision is to create a dynamic network of public and private partnerships that work together for the benefit of all.

Focus

Radius Indiana focuses on four main sectors:

• Defense – Radius Indiana maintains a base office and develops relationships with Crane base officials at WestGate@Crane Technology Park and East Gate Business and Technology Center. We focus on key Department of Defense opportunities, such as attracting original equipment manufacturers (OEM) and capitalizing on opportunities related to construction of the I-69 interstate highway in the region.
• Tourism – We focus local economic development and community officials on the economic impact of tourism; Radius Indiana works with state officials and local and regional groups interested in developing the region's tourism.
• Manufacturing – Radius Indiana works to retain and expand businesses. We support the efforts of local economic development organizations to identify and assist at-risk companies. We work with the Indiana Economic Development Corporation to attract business to the region.
• Education – We work to increase the number of educational sites throughout the region. Radius Indiana...
